She grew up in the Shore Drive and Great Neck areas and went to John B Dey, Lynnhaven Middle and Cox High schools. She also has strong ties with the military as she herself is a military wife whose husband served 26 years in the Navy EOD. Beth was an educator in the Virginia Beach School system for many years after graduating from Longwood University. As an educator, she learned how to be a patient, detail oriented, proactive and strong advocate for all students. Education has always been important to Beth and she believes in continuing her education by attending training on a regular basis to sharpen skills and keep on the cutting edge of real estate.
