My family moved to Alaska in 1976 to join my fathers side of family, who came to Alaska in 1949.  I have raised two children and now have two Grandson's.
My Aunt Marianna Koehler had a wonderful life as a Real Estate Broker of Great Land Realty that she opened in it's current location in 1968.
Seeing how she worked and loved her job she offered to send me to school and come to work for her, I jump on the opportunity.  The rest is history!  I have been in the same office same location since 1979.  I became full owner and broker in 1984 when my Aunt retired. Great Land is one of the oldest offices in Alaska, if not the oldest.  My husband Phillip and I are high school sweethearts married in 1970 and still married and looking forward to everyday together, it's weird even a day apart we are lonely and miss each other. Phillip spent over 20 years in law enforcement until he came to work at Great Land as my LOVE slave, LOL.  He is now retired and spends his days doing what ever he wants.  I still work full time because I love to help people find a home or sell it gives me great joy to have happy clients!
