I appreciated that Marie was strategic regarding the sale of property. She took her time to review the current market and the area the property was in. She also knew best how to appeal to buyers in the current market.
But most importantly, I appreciated that she was consistently responsive. There are a lot of components and steps to the sale of a property. Marie was on top of everything and kept me up to date.
It was amazing to have this be a worry free process. I literally didn't have to worry about this sale, thanks to Marie's confidence and calm demeanor.

I cannot say enough good things about Marie. I've worked with her before and she's amazing. Having someone who knew my personal history and who could advise me with my whole family's needs in mind was super important to me. I didn't even consider calling anyone else.
Buying a house is a huge decision, and Marie was there for me every step of the way. One of my favorite things about Ma ... rie is how quickly she takes action on things. She responds right away to emails, and is available to show houses within a day. I was never waiting around or wondering what was going on at any point along the way. In a fast-paced market, she's the kind of agent that gets you the house you want because she doesn't hesitate. But neither does she pressure. She's there when you need her to be, no more.
There were a few times I thought she would run out of patience with me as I asked her to show me house after house in a wide range of neighborhoods, and then subsequently wrestled with the logical and emotional aspects of finding just the right home, but she never batted an eye. She's truly such a warm, friendly professional. I had to remind myself that we aren't actually friends because she felt like a friend, and a good one at that! We shared some laughs and when things didn't work out on a few of the early houses I liked she was very empathetic.
She's also super knowledgeable! She knows every neighborhood in the greater Hillsboro area like she has lived there personally! She knew noise was a concern for me a steered me away from houses on busy roads or near loud industrial areas that I would have otherwise not known about. And she's a real task manager when it comes to the closing process. She kept me organized with the tasks I needed to complete in order to close on time and honor the contract. And while she was able to advise me on what a fair market price offer might be, she also let me make the final decision on how much to offer and request in credits with no pressure. She's also very well connected and helped me find a great loan officer and inspector to keep things moving along with ease.
TL;DR: Marie is incredibly reassuring and patient, consistently accessible and available, extremely knowledgeable of both the Portland real estate market and the buying and selling process, super well-connected, and an all around joy to work with. I would recommend her to anyone looking to purchase a home in the Portland Westside, whether this is their first home purchase or they are a seasoned investor. She will not steer you wrong, and she will work hard for you until the very end. I'll honestly miss being in regular communication with her now that my house hunt is over. She's a gem!

I met Marie at an open house she hosted in 2020. We remained in contact as I took time to determine whether I would be buying a new home or selling my home and leaving the area. When I finally decided to sell, I felt Marie really understood my position, situation, and needs.
Moving is an overwhelming experience and realtors have to be managers, problem solvers and sometimes therapis ... ts to their clients. I was very grateful for Marie's organization and management skills and it seemed like she had a basket of solutions ready for any problem that could arise. Her online calendar was especially helpful to let me know the next steps and the overall timeline.
I want to give an example of how Marie goes above and beyond for her clients. She hired a house stager to help arrange my furniture so my home could show it's best self. When she and the stager saw that I did not have anyone to help me rearrange the house, they jumped in and helped me move things - up and down stairs and from room to room. And it was hard work! I know that is above the call of duty but they saw that I was overwhelmed and needed help. It's just one small example of how Marie's service to her clients goes beyond what is expected. I will miss Marie and wish I were staying in the area so that she could help me buy a new home.
